Visiting Puffin Cove

We want everyone of all ages to have a brilliant time. Young ones to leave happy having used a good dose of energy, adult ones to leave happy still with plenty of energy for the rest of the day!

These terms and conditions lay out the details we all need to follow to achieve this, with everyone safe. Please ensure you’ve read these before booking, as placing a booking is taken as you confirm your agreement to these terms and conditions in full.

·       All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times. It is the responsible adult’s responsibility to ensure the suitable behaviour and wellbeing of their child(ren). The responsible adult must always maintain supervision of their child(ren). Puffin Cove do not accept responsibility for the supervision of children.

·       Our team at Puffin Cove have strict operating procedures, that are externally checked and validated regularly, to maximise the safety of our equipment. However, use of the facilities at Puffin Cove is at your own risk. We are not liable for any personal injury or damage arising from incidents occurring within our premises. Puffin Cove cannot be held responsible for accidents which occur as a result of children playing in Puffin Cove.

·       If an accident or incident does happen, please report it immediately to the member of staff. We can support in the moment with our first aid trained staff, and we also follow strict H&S protocols where we log all accidents and incidents to ensure we minimise any risk of future accidents or incidents.

·       For Health and Safety reasons (primarily maintaining control over allergens within Puffin Cove) the only food/drink we can allow to be open or consumed in our premises are those we sell. Before/after your Puffin Cove session though, there are lots of lovely spots in and around Princes Risborough for picnics, or for a meal out if you’re wanting more than the snacks we offer!

·       Please remove shoes before entering the play area (to maximise the hygiene of the play area since little hands explore floors as much as other surfaces).

·       Adults and children, please always wear socks (again to maximise the hygiene of our play area. Mostly big feet but little feet too can carry some things we’d rather not share!).

·       Please supervise your walking children such that the non-walkers area is respected as just that, only for use by those toddlers not yet walking and their responsible adults. We want to ensure the responsible adults of non-walkers can have a relaxing session with their littles.

·      Fighting or bullying will not be tolerated at Puffin Cove, with individuals being asked to leave immediately with no refund.

·       If any damage is done to Puffin Cove structure or property, please flag to a member of staff immediately.

·       Please be responsible when taking photos and posting photos on social media. By posting photos on the Puffin Cove Instagram or Facebook page, we will reasonably assume you have permission of anyone in the photo (or their responsible adult if they are too young to consent) to post that photo and accept that this photo can and may be used by Puffin Cove for future advertising and marketing.

·       Then here goes for the entirely obvious ones, that we must state anyway:

o   It is forbidden to smoke, vape or play with fire at Puffin Cove

o   Adults and Children who are contagious with anything should not visit Puffin Cove

o   Adults and Children should wash hands after using the toilet

o   No food, drink or chewing gum should be consumed while playing within the play structures or running around (Choking hazard is our reason for legally requesting this. Making it easier for our teams to keep Puffin Cove clean is the personal reason!)

o   Food and drink can be enjoyed outside the play structures, but please do flag any food or drink spillages that happen to a member of staff ASAP.

o   Objects should not be thrown, and especially not at each other. It is the responsibility of the responsible adult to ensure this does not happen.

o   Responsible adults should ensure that suitable clothing (i.e. clothing that doesn’t pose a risk of trapping or strangling) is worn.

o   No alcohol at Puffin Cove

o   Even if you have incredible acceleration and deceleration and are able to run in our cosy space, please don’t! No running at Puffin Cove!

o   Puffin Cove are not responsible for any loss or damage of personal belongings brought into our premises.

Refunds Policy

Puffin Cove do not offer refunds to individuals for any sessions. We are only a small venue with limited spaces. If our customers try to book and find sessions are full, they make alternative plans and we cannot then fill slots that are subsequently cancelled.
